Quality Control

Inspection & Part Validation

To ensure the parts are to the quality that you as a customer require, we use some of the latest inspection equipment and methods, and are happy to cater for whatever inspection criteria is required.

Ensuring that your parts are correct:

  • First Article Inspection Reports
  • Initial Sample Inspection Reports
  • Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
  • Production Part Approval Process

Full accountability is ensured through each stage of manufacture by completion of inspection reports, in addition to the traditional First-off, Patrol and Final inspection functions.

This responsibility extends to performing the majority of the in-process QC, with the most capable using our co-ordinate measurement machines.

Inspection: CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine)

Whilst we still employ an ‘Inspector’ all of our highly skilled machinists accept they are fully responsible for the quality of their own work. Full accountability is ensured through each stage of manufacture by completion of inspection reports, in addition to the traditional First-off, Patrol and Final inspection functions.

From simple acceptance gauging through to CMM. We use the most suitable tool for the job to ensure conformity.

All equipment is checked and calibrated on a regular basis and a record log is kept for full tracability.

Hardness Testing

In addition to traditional equipment the Company can offer Hardness Testing (both Brinell & Rockwell) to your requirement.
